The worlds heading oppulance car maker, BMW, pronounced Thursday it intends to launch the initial all-electric civic car in 2013, dual years progressing than planned.
The firms "Megacity" car "will be an emission-free city car for civil areas around the world," the Munich-based organisation pronounced in a statement.
Chancellor Angela Merkels supervision aims to have one million electric cars on the highway by 2020.
Daimler is staid to launch this year an electric version of the mini "smart" car, as well as a version of the Mercedes A class.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen, Europes greatest automaker, expects to launch the electric car in 2013.
